Despite the appearance of a heavy, natural stone, these vases are made of ceramic. They are artfully treated in the glazing process to resemble stones. Light to the touch, and made with consistently beautiful molds, these vases are a beautiful and surprising addition to a living space.
These vases are manufactured in Tokoname, a central city known for pottery production. The stone appearance calls to mind centuries old Zen traditions and the Japanese art of floral arrangements (Ikebana).
