Returns & Refunds Policy — Lune Noire (U.S. Orders)

Return Policy
We want you to be happy with your purchase from Lune Noire. We offer a 14-day return period, which starts from the day your order is delivered.
To qualify for a return, items must be in the same condition as received: unworn, unused, with tags intact, and in the original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is also required.
Eligible returns may be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to an error on our part, such as a defective or wrong item.
Understanding Color Discrepancies
We strive to display the colors of our products as accurately as possible in our photographs. However, the colors you see on your screen may vary slightly from the actual product due to differences in monitor settings, device types, and display calibrations.
Unless the color is significantly different from what was described or depicted, minor variations in color due to screen display will be considered a customer-preference return, such as change of mind or item no longer needed.

Initiating a Return or Exchange
To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us at info@lunenoir-ca.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return or exchange, and the reason for the return or exchange.
We will review your request and reply with detailed instructions if your return is approved.
Please do not send back items without prior email confirmation from us. Items returned without prior authorization or items that do not meet our return criteria may be refused or returned to you at your expense.

Return Shipping Costs
For returns due to customer preference, including change of mind, item no longer needed, or minor color discrepancies as explained above, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
For returns due to our error, including defective items or wrong items sent, Lune Noire will cover the cost of return shipping. We may provide a prepaid shipping label in such cases.
Return Fees
A 20% restocking fee applies to eligible returns. This fee helps cover processing, inspection, and repackaging costs associated with returned items.
The restocking fee may be waived if:
- The return is for an exchange due to a size difference, as described in the Exchanges section below.
- The item received was defective, damaged, or incorrect due to our error.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged. Please carefully review product descriptions, photos, sizing, condition notes, and any specific return information on the product page before purchasing these items.

Vintage Clothing:
Items listed within our "JP Vintage Clothing" menu category, or items explicitly described as "Vintage" in the product name or description, are final sale.
Our vintage clothing items are unique, pre-owned pieces, often one-of-a-kind, and their individual condition, including signs of wear or age, is part of their distinct character and history.
Unique, One-of-a-Kind, and Vintage Items from Japan:
Items such as vintage matcha bowls, handcrafted ceramics, and other imported Japanese items designated as "One-of-a-Kind," "Vintage Collectible," or "Handcrafted Unique Piece" are final sale.
These items are typically handcrafted, vintage, or produced in very limited quantities, making them irreplaceable or difficult to restock.
Final Sale Items:
Any item clearly marked as "Final Sale" on its product page or at the time of purchase cannot be returned or exchanged.
Food Products, Swimwear, Underwear, Custom-Ordered, or Personalized Items:
Due to health, hygiene, and custom manufacturing reasons, these items are strictly non-returnable.
Exchanges
For incorrect sizes, we offer a one-time exchange for the same item in a different size, subject to availability. The restocking fee is waived for size exchanges.
- You are responsible for the cost of shipping the original item back to us.
- We will cover the cost of shipping the exchanged item to you one time per original purchase.
- Size exchange is limited to one time per original purchased item.
For all other exchanges, please return the original item, subject to our standard return policy and any applicable restocking fees, and place a new order for the desired item.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, do not discard the item, internal packaging, or original shipping box. If these materials are discarded, we may be unable to verify the claim or provide a resolution.
Please contact us at info@lunenoir-ca.com within 7 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Photos or videos of the damaged, defective, or incorrect product
- Photos of the interior packaging and outer shipping box
- Photos of the shipping label clearly showing the tracking number
- Carrier claim number, if applicable
Customers may be asked to contact the carrier and submit any available damage claim when applicable.
After review, Lune Noire may provide a replacement, repair, partial refund, full refund, or other resolution at our discretion.
Orders Marked "Delivered" but Not Received
Once a package is marked as "Delivered" by the carrier, the order is considered fulfilled and completed.
Lune Noire is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, or missing after delivery has been confirmed by the carrier.
If your tracking shows "Delivered" but you cannot locate the package, we recommend that you:
- Verify the shipping address on your order confirmation.
- Check with household members, neighbors, building staff, parcel lockers, or mailrooms.
- Contact the carrier directly and request a delivery trace or missing package investigation.
While we may assist by providing available tracking information, Lune Noire does not provide refunds, replacements, store credit, or compensation for packages confirmed as delivered by the carrier.
Packages Lost in Transit (Not Marked Delivered)
If tracking does not show "Delivered" and you believe your package may be lost, please first contact the carrier and submit any available investigation request, service request, or claim.
You may also contact Lune Noire at info@lunenoir-ca.com so we can assist with the investigation process when appropriate.
If the carrier confirms that a package was lost before delivery and tracking does not show "Delivered", Lune Noire may review the case and, at our sole discretion, offer a replacement or refund.
Incorrect Shipping Address
Customers are solely responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
Lune Noire is not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrectly entered address.
Orders returned due to an incomplete or incorrect address may be reshipped at the customer's expense.
Refunds
Upon receiving and inspecting your approved return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment, minus any applicable restocking fees, return shipping fees, or other applicable deductions.
If your original order qualified for free shipping and your return brings the final order value below the free shipping threshold, the standard outbound shipping cost may be deducted from your refund amount. This does not apply if the return is due to our error.
Original shipping charges paid by the customer are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Please allow up to 10 business days for us to process approved refunds. Bank and credit card processing times may vary.
Anti-Fraud Measures
- We may document product condition, packaging, and shipment details before dispatch.
- High-risk orders may require additional identity verification or signature confirmation.
- Fraudulent claims, including false non-delivery or staged damage claims, may be reported to payment processors, shipping carriers, fraud prevention services, and relevant authorities.
Policy Changes
Lune Noire reserves the right to modify this return policy at any time.
Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
