This traditional Japanese Matcha Sifter is designed to remove clumps from matcha powder before whisking, helping you create a smoother, creamier bowl of matcha. Crafted in Japan from durable stainless steel, it is an essential tool for preparing authentic matcha at home or in a tea ceremony.

For the finest texture, gently press the matcha through the fine mesh using the back (curved side) of a bamboo tea scoop (chashaku). This traditional Japanese preparation method produces a light, fluffy powder that whisks more easily into a rich, silky froth.

Please note: A bamboo tea scoop (chashaku) is recommended for the traditional preparation method described above, but is not included and is sold separately.
