Kosengama - Celadon Rinka Small Bowl
Kosengama - Celadon Rinka Small Bowl
Nabeshima celadon is made using natural minerals sourced from Ōkawachiyama, the kiln site of the Hizen Nabeshima domain. This type of celadon has been crafted since the Nabeshima clan moved to Ōkawachiyama in Imari City over 300 years ago in search of celadon stone. The techniques have been passed down through generations to this day.
The natural bluish-green luster of Nabeshima celadon creates a mysterious beauty, expressing a moist and elegant color that is highly valued.
Design: The Rinka (wheel flower) shape adds an elegant, delicate form to the bowl.
