Brewing Instructions

Manufacturer’s Recommendation

1. Place one tea bag in a cup.
2. Add hot water at 176–194°F (80–90°C).
3. Gently move the tea bag up and down several times.
4. Remove the tea bag when the tea reaches your preferred strength.

For a stronger flavor: Gently stir the tea bag with a spoon while brewing.

Manufacturer’s note: For the best results, use good-quality water.

Luna Matcha tip: Filtered or soft water works especially well for Japanese tea.

For a Larger Cup — Luna Matcha Recommendation

For an 8–12 fl oz cup, use one tea bag and steep slightly longer according to your preferred strength. Gently moving or stirring the tea bag will help bring out more roasted flavor.

For a stronger cup, use two tea bags rather than steeping one tea bag for an excessive amount of time. Please note that using two tea bags will also increase the amount of caffeine.
